*With coach’s and parent’s discretion, kids may move between programs to find the best fit.
*Blue, Gold, and Girls Practices are typically held at Howe Elementary and Little Devils is at the high school wrestling room located in the lower level of the athletic building.

For first year wrestlers. A 6-week program meeting 1x/week for a 1-hour practice. Fun practices with a focus on coordination, balance, tumbling, and learning wrestling through games (sumo, shoelace tag, gaga ball etc.). With the coach’s discretion, there may be an opportunity for mature Little Devils to continue with the Blue group in November.
Practices will be held at the Mt Lebanon High School Wrestling unless otherwise noted. Practices may be held at the South Hills Wrestling Academy pending scheduling conflicts. 1008 Progress Ct Bethel Park, PA 15102.

$1601-hour practices 2x/week. Dynamic and fun workout. Age appropriate exercises for building strength, coordination, balance and flexibility. Learn through play, games, and competition. Understand the basic rules and fundamental techniques of wrestling. Opportunities to compete against other schools within the South Hills League as well as low-pressure situations within our own wrestling room. There are also optional tournaments to attend. The season ends at our South Hills League Tournament.

*Girls may attend any of our other practices at no additional costWomen’s wrestling is an Olympic sport, college sport, and is the fastest growing high school sport in the country, sanctioned by the PIAA in JR High and High school. Recently, Mt. Lebanon youth wrestling has produced some very successful girls with multiple state place-winners, a state champion and even national champions!
Our girls only program is one practice per week and girls are encouraged to attend our coed blue or gold practices depending on their age/experience at no extra cost. We offer the program for 1st-6th grades as our junior high does not currently have a girls only team.

$1751-hour and 30-minute practices 2x/week and 1 hour practice 1x/week . Faster paced, focusing on the same basic techniques as the Blue group while adding additional skills. 1st year wrestlers 4th and above will pick up the new skills quickly. The Gold group competes in our South Hills League as well as other optional tournaments.

Our Advanced Team will practice at the South Hills Wrestling Academy (SHWA) located in Bethel Park along with wrestlers from other schools. These practices are for wrestlers who are comfortable with the fundamentals and want to make a bigger commitment to the sport. Wrestlers are expected to stay focused and push themselves 90 minute to 2 hour practice. Advanced Team members are expected to participate in open division tournaments beyond our South Hills League. The program is designed to prepare wrestlers for the Regional and State Championships in March. Registration is through SHWA, but participants are automatically registered for Mt. Lebanon and the South Hills League - you do not need to register for both Lebo and SHWA.
